   Power down the device

   Press and hold the side button and volume down button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Disconnect any charging cable before proceeding.

   Heat the rear glass

   Apply a heat gun or heated pad around the edges of the rear glass cover for about two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach a suction cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower portion of the rear glass near the bottom edge. Pull up on the suction handle to create a slight gap between the glass and frame.

   Insert an opening pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Slice through the bottom edge adhesive carefully.

   Slice the perimeter adhesive

   Slide the pick around the remaining sides and top edge of the device to sever the back glass adhesive completely. Keep the pick shallow to avoid damaging internal cables.

   Remove the rear glass

   Lift the rear glass off the chassis and set it aside on a clean work surface. Clean off old adhesive strips from the frame using high-concentration isopropyl alcohol.

   Unscrew the upper shield assembly

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the five screws holding down the upper wireless charging pad and motherboard cover.

   Disconnect the wireless charging coil

   Use the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the wireless charging coil flex cable from the motherboard. Lift the coil pad up and off the phone.

   Unscrew the loudspeaker module

   Remove the five Phillips #00 screws securing the lower loudspeaker assembly to the bottom of the device.

    Pry up the loudspeaker

    Insert a spudger under the small notch on the top edge of the speaker housing. Lever the loudspeaker assembly up and remove it from the device frame.

    Clean lower contact pads

    Inspect the gold spring contact pads on the sub-board beneath the speaker location. Gently wipe away any dust or residue using a lint-free swab lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol.

    Position the new loudspeaker

    Set the new Galaxy S20 Ultra loudspeaker module into the lower cavity of the frame. Press down firmly until it snaps into place flush with the frame.

    Secure the loudspeaker screws

    Reinstall the five Phillips #00 screws to firmly hold the new loudspeaker in place.

    Reinstall the wireless charging assembly

    Realign the wireless charging coil pad, connect its ribbon cable to the motherboard, and reinstall its five Phillips screws.

    Apply fresh rear adhesive

    Peel the backing off a pre-cut back glass adhesive strip and press it onto the perimeter of the device frame.

    Seal the rear glass panel

    Align the rear glass cover over the phone frame and press firmly along all edges to seat the adhesive and recreate the seal.
