   Power Off the Phone

   Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons until the power menu appears. Tap Power Off and wait for the screen to go completely dark.

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole at the top edge of the device. Press firmly until the tray pops out, then remove it.

   Heat the Back Glass

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on medium heat to warm the rear cover edges for 2 to 3 minutes. This softens the strong factory adhesive securing the panel.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back glass panel. Pull gently upward to create a tiny gap between the glass and the midframe.

   Slice Back Cover Adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Carefully slide the pick around all four edges to slice through the adhesive.

   Remove the Back Glass

   Lift the rear glass carefully off the frame once all adhesive is severed. Set the back panel aside in a safe, clean space.

   Unscrew Wireless Charging Coil

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 15 screws securing the upper motherboard bracket and wireless charging pad assembly.

   Disconnect Battery Connector

   Gently peel up the wireless charging coil assembly to reveal the mainboard. Use a plastic spudger to pry the battery flex cable straight up off its socket.

   Remove Loudspeaker Assembly

   Remove five Phillips #00 screws holding the lower speaker enclosure in place. Use tweezers to lift the loudspeaker module out of the frame.

    Disconnect Display and Interconnect Cables

    Use your spudger to detach the main flex ribbon, sub flex ribbon, and primary display connector from the mainboard and daughterboard.

    Remove the Main Motherboard

    Unscrew the single Phillips screw securing the main board, disconnect the front camera, and lift the motherboard out of the frame.

    Remove Bottom Daughterboard

    Unscrew three Phillips screws holding the charging port board in place. Lift the daughterboard out from the lower frame cavity.

    Remove Vibration Motor and Earpiece

    Apply light heat to the top front of the frame. Use tweezers to pry out the earpiece speaker and vibration motor from their recessed housings.

    Install Hardware into New Screen Frame

    Place the earpiece speaker and vibration motor into their corresponding slots on the new display assembly, using adhesive if required.

    Reinstall Motherboard and Daughterboard

    Set the main motherboard and lower charging daughterboard into the new screen frame. Secure both boards with their dedicated Phillips screws.

    Reconnect All Interconnect Cables

    Attach the main display, sub flex, and front camera ribbons to their sockets by pressing gently until they snap into place.

    Reattach Loudspeaker and Wireless Assembly

    Reconnect the battery press connector, then reinstall the lower speaker and upper wireless charging pad. Fasten all Phillips screws back into place.

    Seal the Back Glass

    Apply a fresh pre-cut adhesive strip to the frame edges. Align the back glass cover and press down firmly around the perimeter to seal.
