Step-by-step

Power off device

Attach suction cup

Slice back adhesive
5 minInsert a plastic prying pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Carefully slide the pick around all four edges to slice through the adhesive.

Remove back cover

3 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 15 screws securing the upper antenna assembly and wireless charging coil. Store the screws in an organized tray.

1 minLocate and remove the single Phillips #00 screw holding the logic board to the phone frame near the top right.

2 minInsert a plastic spudger underneath the bottom edge of the logic board. Gently tilt and lift the board out of the chassis.

Install replacement board
3 minPosition the new logic board into the frame, ensuring all flex cables stay clear underneath. Press gently until it sits flush.
