   Power down the phone

   Press and hold the side button and volume down button, then tap 'Power off'. Ensure the phone is completely off before starting.

   Eject the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool or paperclip into the hole at the top edge of the phone. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then remove it.

   Heat the bottom edge

   Apply heat to the lower edge of the back glass for 2 minutes using a heat gun. Keep the heat moving to avoid concentrated hotspot damage.

   Attach the suction cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the rear glass cover. Ensure a tight seal near the bottom edge.

   Create an entry gap

   Pull up firmly on the suction cup handle to lift the back glass away from the frame. Look for a tiny gap along the bottom seam.

   Insert an opening pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created between the glass and the phone frame. Leave it in place to keep the gap open.

   Slice bottom adhesive

   Slide the opening pick carefully along the bottom edge of the device. Cut through the factory adhesive sealant completely.

   Heat the left edge

   Apply heat to the left edge of the phone for 1 to 2 minutes to soften the side adhesive strip.

   Slice left adhesive

   2 min

   Guide the opening pick around the bottom-left corner and up along the left edge. Take care not to insert the pick deeper than 5mm.

    Heat the top edge

    Heat the top edge of the rear glass panel for 1 to 2 minutes using your heat source.

    Slice top adhesive

    2 min

    Slide the opening pick around the top-left corner and across the top edge of the phone. Cut through the remaining top adhesive.

    Heat the right edge

    Apply heat to the right edge of the rear glass panel for 1 to 2 minutes.

    Slice right adhesive

    Guide your pick around the top-right corner and down the right edge. Ensure all perimeter adhesive strips are completely separated.

    Remove the back cover

    Lift the rear glass cover straight up and off the phone body. Set the old back panel aside.

    Clean adhesive residue

    Dampen a microfiber cloth with isopropyl alcohol and clean off all old adhesive remnants from the frame's edge. Use a plastic spudger to scrape stubborn spots.

    Prep replacement back cover

    Peel away the protective clear film covering the pre-installed adhesive strips on the inside of the new back panel.

    Align the new cover

    Carefully line up the camera module housing and frame perimeter with the new back glass. Lower the panel into position gently.

    Press down to seal

    Apply firm, even pressure along all four edges and around the camera bump for a full minute to seat the new adhesive properly.

    Reinsert the SIM tray

    Slide the SIM card tray back into its slot at the top edge of the device until it sits completely flush.
