   Power Off the Galaxy S20 FE

   Press and hold the power and volume down buttons, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before opening.

   Heat the Back Cover Edges

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer around the perimeter of the rear cover for two minutes. This softens the adhesive securing the plastic back panel.

   Apply a Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear panel and press firmly to seal. Pull upward gently to create a slight gap between the cover and frame.

   Slice the Rear Cover Adhesive

   Insert an opening pick into the gap created at the bottom edge. Slide the pick around all four sides of the rear cover to cut through the perimeter tape.

   Remove the Rear Plastic Cover

   Lift the rear cover straight off the chassis once all adhesive is severed. Set the back panel aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the Upper Midframe

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the 10 screws securing the plastic upper midframe and wireless charging pad.

   Remove the Wireless Charging Coil

   Insert a spudger under the top edge of the wireless charging assembly. Gently peel the pad away from the battery and set it aside.

   Disconnect the Battery Cable

   Pry the battery press connector straight up from its motherboard socket using the flat end of a spudger. This cuts power to prevent electrical damage.

   Unscrew the Loudspeaker Module

   Remove the 7 Phillips #000 screws holding the loudspeaker housing to the bottom sub-board area.

    Pry Out the Loudspeaker Module

    Insert a spudger beneath the top edge of the loudspeaker assembly. Pry upward to unlatch the plastic module from the frame clips and remove it.

    Install the Replacement Loudspeaker

    Align the new loudspeaker module with the bottom sub-board alignment pins. Press down firmly until the assembly sits flush in the lower frame recess.

    Secure the Loudspeaker Screws

    Reinstall the 7 Phillips #000 screws into the loudspeaker module until snug. Do not overtighten to avoid stripping plastic threads.

    Reconnect the Battery Cable

    Position the battery press connector over the motherboard socket and press down firmly until it snaps into place.

    Secure the Wireless Charging Frame

    Reposition the upper midframe and wireless charging pad over the motherboard. Reinstall the 10 Phillips #000 screws to fasten the assembly.
