Power Off Device
1 minPress and hold the Power button until the options menu appears, then select Power Off.

Remove Rear Cover
1 minPry into the small notch at the top of the back panel using your fingernail or a plastic opening tool to lift off the rear cover.

Remove Battery
1 minUse your fingernail or a pry tool at the bottom recess to lift the battery out of its compartment.

Eject SIM and MicroSD Cards
1 minSlide the SIM card and microSD card out of their respective metal slots on the upper midframe.

Unscrew Rear Midframe
3 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the seven screws holding the midframe to the front housing assembly.

Unclip Midframe Assembly
4 minInsert a plastic spudger into the seam between the front glass bezel and the midframe chassis, then pry along the edges to release the clips.

Disconnect Antenna Cable
2 minUse tweezers or the edge of a spudger to pop the lower antenna coaxial cable off its connector on the logic board.

Disconnect Display Ribbon Cable
2 minPry up the press-fit display connector located near the middle left edge of the main logic board.

Disconnect Digitizer Flex
2 minGently disconnect the digitizer flex cable connector at the top left area of the motherboard.

Disconnect Front Camera Module
2 minPop off the camera assembly flex connector located at the top center of the board using a plastic spudger.

Disconnect Headphone Jack Flex
2 minDisconnect the earpiece and headphone jack assembly ribbon cable from the top right edge of the board.

Remove Motherboard Screw
2 minRemove the single Phillips #00 screw securing the logic board near the top right section.

Remove Logic Board
3 minCarefully lift the bottom edge of the logic board and guide it out of the screen chassis assembly.
