2 minInsert a spudger beneath the bottom speaker housing and pry it up to reveal the microphone sub-board.

Disconnect Sub-Board Flex Cables
2 minUnplug the main interconnect flex cable and display cable from the sub-board using a plastic spudger.

Remove Primary Microphone Board
2 minUse tweezers to lift the microphone sub-board out of the lower chassis.

Set New Microphone Board
2 minAlign the replacement microphone sub-board in the lower housing and press it flat into position.

Reconnect Flex Cables and Battery
2 minSnap the sub-board interconnect cables and main battery flex cable back into their motherboard connectors.

Reinstall Speaker and Charging Pad
3 minPosition the loudspeaker and wireless charging pad into place, then secure all 15 Phillips screws.

Reseal the Rear Cover
3 minApply new pre-cut adhesive tape to the frame perimeter, press the rear glass cover on firmly, and apply light heat to seal.
