Step-by-step

Power Off Device
1 minTurn off your Galaxy S10e completely to prevent electrical shorts during disassembly. Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off.

Eject SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the small hole on the top edge of the phone. Press firmly until the tray pops out, then remove it.

Heat Back Glass
3 minApply a heat gun or hair dryer around the edges of the back glass for 2-3 minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup
2 minPlace a suction cup on the lower portion of the back glass. Pull up firmly to create a slight gap between the glass and frame.

Slice Rear Adhesive
5 minInsert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Slide it along all four edges to slice through the perimeter adhesive.

Remove Back Glass
1 minGently lift the back glass panel away from the chassis. Set it aside on a clean surface.

Unscrew Midframe Covers
4 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 15 screws securing the upper antenna shield and wireless charging assembly.

Detach Wireless Charging Pad
2 minPry up the plastic upper midframe and carefully peel the wireless charging pad off the battery module.

Disconnect Battery Cable
1 minInsert a plastic spudger under the battery connector and pop it straight up from the motherboard.

Disconnect Front and Rear Cameras
2 minUse the spudger to detach the front camera connector and both rear camera connectors from the top of the logic board.

Disconnect Screen and Ribbon Connectors
3 minUnplug the display cable, volume/power button ribbon, and bottom interconnect cable from the board using a spudger.

Lift Out Logic Board
2 minCarefully pry underneath the top edge of the logic board with a spudger and remove it from the phone body.

Install Replacement Board
3 minPosition the replacement logic board into the chassis, ensuring no flexible ribbon cables are trapped underneath.

Reconnect Ribbon Cables
3 minPress down on the display, camera, and side button ribbon connectors until they snap securely into place.

Reconnect Battery and Reassemble
5 minSnap the battery connector back in, replace the wireless charging midframe assembly, and secure all 15 Phillips screws.
