   Power Off Phone

   Press and hold the power button until options appear, then tap Power Off. Ensure the device is completely powered down before proceeding.

   Heat Bottom Edge

   Apply a heated iOpener or heat gun to the bottom edge of the rear glass for two minutes. This softens the tough adhesive securing the back cover.

   Attach Suction Handle

   Place a suction cup on the lower portion of the back cover near the USB-C port. Pull up firmly on the handle to create a tiny gap between the glass and the frame.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Insert the tip of a plastic opening pick into the gap created beneath the bottom glass edge. Do not insert the pick more than 5 mm to avoid internal damage.

   Slice Bottom Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick back and forth along the bottom edge to slice through the adhesive. Leave the pick in place to prevent the glue from resealing.

   Heat Left Edge

   Apply heat to the left edge of the phone for about ninety seconds. Keep the heat source moving evenly along the edge.

   Slice Left Adhesive

   Insert a second opening pick into the bottom-left corner and slide it up to the top-left corner. Leave this pick under the left side.

   Heat Top Edge

   Apply heat to the top edge of the back cover for ninety seconds to soften the adhesive surrounding the upper perimeter.

   Slice Top Adhesive

   Guide an opening pick along the top edge to separate the adhesive. Take care around the top microphone notch.

    Heat Right Edge

    Heat the right edge of the rear glass for ninety seconds to prepare the final adhesive strip for separation.

    Slice Right Adhesive

    Slide an opening pick down the right side from top to bottom until all four edges are completely severed.

    Remove Rear Glass

    Gently lift the original back cover away from the chassis. Set the old glass panel aside.

    Clean Frame Adhesive

    Dampen a lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol and thoroughly clean all remaining adhesive residue off the aluminum frame. Ensure the rim is completely clean and dry.

    Prepare Replacement Glass

    Peel off any protective plastic film exposing the pre-applied adhesive strips on the interior of the new back cover.

    Align Replacement Cover

    Carefully align the new glass cover over the chassis frame, using the camera module cutout as your guide. Lower the panel flat onto the phone.

    Press Edge Adhesive

    Firmly press around all outer edges of the back cover to set the adhesive bond. Apply mild heat along the perimeter while pressing to ensure a water-resistant seal.
