   Eject SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool or paperclip into the hole at the top edge of the phone. Push firmly to pop out the tray, then remove it completely.

   Heat Rear Glass Panel

   Use a heat gun or hairdryer along the outer edges of the rear glass for 2-3 minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the glass back cover and pull up firmly to create a small gap.

   Slice Rear Panel Adhesive

   Insert an opening pick into the gap and slice around all four edges to break the adhesive bond. Keep picks inserted to prevent re-sealing.

   Lift Off Rear Glass

   Gently lift the back glass off the chassis. Set it aside safely on a clean surface.

   Unscrew Wireless Charging Assembly

   Remove the six Phillips #00 screws securing the plastic wireless charging coil and upper midframe shield.

   Remove Wireless Charging Coil

   Peel up the wireless charging coil assembly starting from the right side and set it aside.

   Disconnect Battery Cable

   Use a plastic spudger to pry the battery connector straight up from its socket on the motherboard.

   Unscrew Loudspeaker Module

   Remove the seven Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker assembly to the frame.

    Pry up the lower loudspeaker module using an opening pick and lift it out of the device.

    Disconnect Display and Sensor Flexes

    Disconnect the display cable, daughterboard flex, and sensor connectors from the motherboard using a spudger.

    Disconnect Front Camera Connectors

    Pry up the two front camera flex connectors directly off the top section of the motherboard.

    Remove Front Camera Assembly

    Use precision tweezers to lift the dual front-facing camera module out of its recessed housing.

    Unscrew Motherboard

    Remove the single Phillips #00 screw securing the top left corner of the motherboard to the frame.

    Remove Motherboard Assembly

    Gently lift the top edge of the motherboard and tilt it up to clear the bottom port flex, then lift it out.

    Remove Headphone Jack

    Remove the single Phillips #00 screw securing the 3.5mm headphone jack, then pry it out with a spudger.

    Remove Earpiece Speaker

    Apply light heat to the top front of the frame, then carefully pry out the earpiece speaker using tweezers.

    Remove Vibration Motor

    Pry the linear vibration motor out of its recess in the upper corner using flat tweezers.

    Soften Battery Adhesive

    Apply high-concentration isopropyl alcohol around the edges of the battery cavity and allow it to sit for 2 minutes.

    Pry Out Battery

    Insert a plastic spudger under the bottom edge of the battery and slowly leverage it out of the recess.

    Install Components into New Display Assembly

    Transfer the earpiece speaker, vibration motor, headphone jack, and motherboard into the new screen and frame assembly.

    Reinstall Battery and Connectors

    Press the battery back into place, reattach the display cable, and re-seat all motherboard press connectors.

    Reattach Loudspeaker and Wireless Coil

    Reinstall the loudspeaker and wireless charging pad, then replace and tighten all Phillips #00 midframe screws.

    Seal Rear Glass

    Apply fresh precut adhesive along the back frame perimeter, press the rear panel on tightly, and apply firm pressure.
