Eject the SIM card tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool or paperclip into the hole next to the SIM tray on the top left. Pull the tray completely out.

Heat the rear glass panel
3 minApply heat evenly across the edges of the back cover using a heat gun for 2 minutes to soften the adhesive.

Slice the back cover adhesive

Slice the front screen adhesive
5 minPlace a suction cup on the glass, pull up to create a seam, and slide opening picks along all four sides.

Remove the damaged display
3 minLift the display assembly off the phone while carefully feeding the flex cable through the slot in the frame.

Clean adhesive residue from the frame
5 minScrape away remaining glue and glass fragments using a spudger and isopropyl alcohol until the frame surface is smooth.

Apply new display adhesive
4 minAlign and stick pre-cut double-sided adhesive strips along the clean perimeter of the front frame.

Position and mount the new screen
