   Power Off Phone

   Press and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before proceeding.

   Heat Back Glass

   Use a heat gun on low setting to heat the outer edges of the rear glass panel for two minutes. This softens the waterproof adhesive securing the back cover.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup onto the lower third of the back cover. Press down firmly to establish a secure vacuum seal.

   Create Initial Opening

   Pull up firmly on the suction cup handle to create a thin gap between the back cover and the frame. Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap.

   Slice Bottom Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick back and forth along the bottom edge of the frame to cut through the adhesive. Leave a pick in the seam to prevent re-sealing.

   Slice Left Edge Adhesive

   Insert a second opening pick and carefully guide it along the left edge. Do not insert the pick deeper than 5 mm to avoid damaging internal ribbons.

   Slice Top Edge Adhesive

   Slide the pick across the top edge of the back glass. Reapply heat with the heat gun if the adhesive begins to harden.

   Slice Right Edge Adhesive

   Cut through the remaining adhesive along the right edge of the rear cover. Ensure all four sides are completely unbonded.

   Remove Back Cover

   Slowly lift the rear glass panel away from the chassis. Set the back glass on a clean surface out of the workspace.

    Unscrew Wireless Charging Coil

    Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the ten screws securing the top wireless charging pad and bracket assembly.

    Remove Wireless Charging Coil

    Use a spudger to gently unclip the top edge of the wireless charging assembly. Lift the coil pad and upper shield out of the frame.

    Disconnect Battery Cable

    Pry the battery press connector straight up from its motherboard socket using the flat end of a plastic spudger. This prevents accidental shorts during the repair.

    Unscrew Loudspeaker Bracket

    Remove the seven Phillips #000 screws securing the lower loudspeaker module to the bottom frame.

    Remove Loudspeaker Module

    Insert a spudger under the upper lip of the loudspeaker module. Pry upward gently to release the clips and remove the speaker.

    Apply Isopropyl Alcohol

    Apply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol around the edges of the battery compartment. Let it rest for two minutes to break down the factory adhesive underneath.

    Pry Out Battery

    Insert a plastic spudger or plastic card into the bottom seam under the battery. Gently lever upward to free the battery from the metal housing.

    Remove Old Battery

    Grasp the loosened battery and lift it out of the chassis entirely. Take care not to bend or puncture the battery cell.

    Clean Battery Well

    Moisten a lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol and wipe the recessed battery well clean. Ensure all residual glue and dust are removed.

    Apply Battery Adhesive

    Peel the backing off new custom battery adhesive strips and lay them flat in the empty battery well. Press down firmly to stick them to the metal chassis.

    Install New Battery

    Align the replacement battery over the housing recess and lower it into place. Press down evenly across its top surface to lock it to the adhesive strips.
