   Eject the S Pen

   Press inward on the S Pen end until it clicks, then slide the stylus completely out of the phone enclosure.

   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the Power button on the right edge, then tap Power Off on the display.

   Heat the Back Glass

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the outer edges of the rear glass cover for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the perimeter adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower portion of the rear glass near the USB-C port and pull upward firmly to create a gap.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the seam opened by the suction cup along the bottom edge.

   Slice the Perimeter Adhesive

   Slide the plastic pick around the perimeter of the phone to cut through the back glass adhesive, reheating the glass if resistance increases.

   Lift the Rear Glass

   Gently swing open the rear glass cover from the left edge like a book, taking care not to pull on the short fingerprint sensor cable.

   Disconnect Fingerprint Sensor

   Use the flat end of a plastic spudger to pop the fingerprint reader connector straight up from its motherboard socket, then remove the back glass.

   Unscrew Upper Midframe

   Remove the Phillips #000 screws securing the upper midframe and wireless charging coil assembly to the frame.

    Remove Wireless Charging Pad

    Pry up the edges of the plastic midframe and lift the wireless charging coil assembly off the device chassis.

    Disconnect the Battery Cable

    Use a spudger to disconnect the battery flex cable from the motherboard to cut power to the device.

    Unscrew Lower Loudspeaker

    Remove the Phillips #000 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker cover over the S Pen channel.

    Remove the Loudspeaker Module

    Insert a plastic pry tool under the loudspeaker assembly and lift it out of the lower chassis.

    Disconnect S Pen Sensor Flex

    Use the pointed tip of a spudger to disconnect the S Pen detection sensor flex cable from the daughterboard socket.

    Extract Old S Pen Housing

    Use tweezers and a spudger to pry the S Pen spring-eject bracket and sensor sleeve out of the internal frame channel.

    Install Replacement S Pen Module

    Align the new S Pen ejector bracket and sensor assembly into the internal housing channel and press it flat into place.

    Reconnect S Pen Sensor Flex

    Align and press the S Pen detection sensor flex cable down into its board connector until it clicks into position.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker and Midframe

    Set the loudspeaker assembly and wireless charging midframe back into the phone frame, then reinstall all Phillips screws.

    Seal and Reattach Back Cover

    Apply pre-cut replacement adhesive around the rear chassis, reconnect the fingerprint sensor cable, and press the rear glass panel firmly back onto the frame.
