Safety
- Wear safety glasses while heating and handling glass to prevent eye injury from potential glass shards.

Eject the SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the small hole on top of the phone to pop out the tray. Pull the tray out completely.

Remove the S Pen
1 minPush the S Pen inward until it clicks and releases. Slide the S Pen out from its slot.

Heat the Back Cover
2 minApply heat evenly around the outer edges of the rear glass using a heat gun for 2 minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach the Suction Cup
1 minPlace a suction cup onto the lower half of the rear glass and pull upward firmly to create a gap.

Insert an Opening Pick
2 minInsert a plastic opening pick into the gap between the glass back cover and the metal frame.

Slice Rear Glass Adhesive
4 minSlide the pick carefully around all four edges of the back glass to sever the perimeter adhesive.

Disconnect Fingerprint Sensor
2 minSlightly tilt the back panel open and use tweezers to detach the short fingerprint sensor flex cable.

Remove the Back Cover
1 minLift the rear glass panel away from the phone and set it aside on a clean work surface.

Unscrew Upper Shield Screws
3 minRemove the ten Phillips #00 screws securing the upper antenna shield and wireless charging coil.

Remove Wireless Charging Coil
2 minPry up the edges of the wireless charging assembly using a spudger and remove it from the device.

Unscrew Loudspeaker Screws
2 minRemove the five Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker assembly to the frame.

Remove the Damaged Loudspeaker
2 minInsert a plastic spudger under the edge of the lower speaker assembly and pry it out from the housing.

Install the New Loudspeaker
2 minPosition the replacement loudspeaker assembly into the lower cavity of the phone and press down to seat it.

Secure Loudspeaker Screws
2 minReinstall the five Phillips #00 screws to firmly secure the new loudspeaker to the frame.

Reattach Wireless Charging Shield
3 minPlace the wireless charging assembly back in position and fasten the ten Phillips #00 screws.

Reconnect Sensor and Reseal
3 minPlug in the fingerprint sensor, apply fresh back cover adhesive, and press the rear glass panel firmly back into place.
