Step-by-step

Eject the S Pen
1 minPress the S Pen to pop it out and remove it completely from the bottom slot.

Remove the SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject pin into the hole on top of the phone to remove the card tray.

Heat the Back Glass
3 minApply heat evenly around the outer edges of the rear panel for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup
2 minPlace a suction cup on the lower portion of the rear glass and gently lift to create a small gap.

2 minSlide an opening pick into the gap under the rear glass near the bottom edge.

2 minUnplug the main display press-fit cable and digitizer flex cable from the upper motherboard.

Heat Front Display Assembly
3 minHeat the front edges of the screen with a heat gun for three minutes to soften the display adhesive.

Separate Display from Frame
5 minUse a thin metal pick and suction cup to slice the perimeter adhesive and lift the broken screen off the chassis.

Clean Frame Residue
4 minScrape off residual glue and glass pieces using isopropyl alcohol and cotton swabs.

Apply Screen Adhesive
3 minPlace pre-cut adhesive strips along the phone frame edges, pressing them down firmly.
