   Eject the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole on top of the phone and press firmly to eject the tray. Pull the tray completely out of the device.

   Remove the S Pen

   Press the top of the S Pen to click and unlock it. Slide the S Pen completely out of its frame slot.

   Heat the rear glass panel

   Apply heat evenly along the edges of the back glass using a heat gun for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach a suction cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower third of the rear glass. Pull upward to create a small gap near the frame.

   Insert an opening pick

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Do not insert the pick deeper than 3 millimeters.

   Slice through rear panel adhesive

   Slide the opening pick carefully along all four sides of the phone to separate the back glass adhesive.

   Lift and remove the rear cover

   Gently lift the back glass panel straight up off the chassis and set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the upper midframe

   Remove the 5 Phillips #00 screws securing the top midframe bracket and wireless charging pad assembly.

   Remove the wireless charging coil

   Use a spudger to gently unclip the top midframe and lift out the midframe along with the wireless charging pad.

    Disconnect the battery cable

    Use a plastic spudger to pry the battery connector press fit directly off the motherboard socket.

    Unscrew the lower speaker housing

    Remove the 5 Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker cover module.

    Remove the loudspeaker module

    Pry up the lower speaker housing using a spudger and lift it out of the frame.

    Disconnect the main display cable

    Use a spudger to disconnect the display flex cable press connector from the motherboard.

    Heat the front screen assembly

    Apply heat across the front screen panel for 3 minutes to loosen the perimeter display adhesive.

    Slice front screen adhesive

    Insert a thin plastic pick under the display glass edge and slide along all four sides to sever the glue.

    Separate damaged screen from frame

    Lift the old display off the body while guiding its flex cable carefully through the frame cutout.

    Clean screen frame residue

    Scrape remaining glass and old adhesive off the frame metal edge using tweezers and isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply frame adhesive strips

    Align and stick pre-cut screen adhesive strips around the inner perimeter of the display frame.

    Position new display screen

    Thread the new display cable through the slot and press the screen flat into the frame adhesive.

    Reconnect display and battery cables

    Snap the display connector press fit onto the motherboard, followed by the battery connector.

    Reinstall speaker and midframe

    Place the loudspeaker and top midframe back into position and replace all Phillips #00 screws.

    Reseal rear glass cover

    Apply new back cover adhesive strips, align the rear glass panel, and press firmly around the edges to seal.
