Eject the S Pen
1 minPress the top of the S Pen until it clicks, then pull it completely out of the phone's internal slot.

Power Off the Device
1 minPress and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously, then tap Power Off on the screen.

Heat the Rear Glass
2 minApply a heat gun set to 80°C along the perimeter of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup
1 minPlace a suction cup on the lower half of the rear glass near the bottom edge and pull upward firmly.

Insert Opening Pick
1 minInsert a thin plastic opening pick into the small seam created between the glass and the outer frame.

Slice Rear Adhesive
3 minSlide the pick around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the perimeter adhesive strips.

2 minGently peel the wireless coil from the battery cover and lift the upper midframe out of the chassis.

Disconnect the Battery
1 minPry the battery connector straight up from its motherboard socket using a plastic spudger to cut power.

Unscrew Speaker Assembly
2 minRemove the five Phillips #000 screws securing the loudspeaker at the bottom of the phone frame.

Remove Loudspeaker
2 minInsert a spudger under the lip of the loudspeaker housing and lift it out of the lower recess.

Disconnect S Pen Flex
1 minDisconnect the S Pen charging and detection sensor flex cable from the main motherboard.

Unscrew S Pen Bracket
1 minRemove the single Phillips #000 screw holding the metal S Pen housing bracket in place.

Extract Old S Pen Sensor
2 minUse tweezers to carefully lift the old S Pen detection and charging coil module out of the slot chamber.

Install New S Pen Sensor
2 minAlign the replacement S Pen sensor module into the internal slot guide and press it firmly into position.

Secure S Pen Bracket
1 minReinstall and tighten the Phillips #000 screw on the metal retaining bracket to anchor the sensor assembly.
