   Eject the S Pen

   Press the S Pen inward until it clicks, then pull it out of the bottom slot.

   Remove the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the top edge of the phone to eject the card tray.

   Heat the back glass

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer to the outer edges of the rear panel for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach the suction cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower portion of the back glass and pull up firmly to create a small gap.

   Slice the bottom adhesive

   Insert a plastic pry pick into the gap along the bottom edge and slice through the adhesive layer.

   Slice the side and top adhesive

   Carefully slide the opening pick around the perimeter of the phone, cutting the adhesive while avoiding the camera module.

   Remove the back glass

   Lift the rear panel off the phone body and place it safely to the side.

   Unscrew the top motherboard cover

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper plastic shield and wireless charging coil.

   Disconnect the wireless charging coil

   Use the flat end of a spudger to snap off the press connector for the wireless charging assembly.

    Remove the wireless charging coil module

    Peel up the NFC and wireless charging assembly from the frame and set it aside.

    Disconnect the battery flex cable

    Pry the battery connector straight up from the motherboard to cut power to the device.

    Unscrew the lower loudspeaker assembly

    Remove the Phillips screws holding down the loudspeaker housing over the charging port area.

    Remove the loudspeaker module

    Lever a spudger beneath the loudspeaker assembly and lift it out of the bottom frame.

    Disconnect the main interconnect cables

    Use a spudger to gently pop up the display and main ribbon flex connectors from the charging port board.

    Disconnect the antenna coaxial cables

    Use tweezers to carefully detach the red and blue coaxial antenna cables from the daughterboard.

    Unscrew the charging port daughterboard

    Remove the single Phillips screw securing the charging port board to the frame.

    Remove the damaged charging port board

    Pry gently beneath the charging port board with a spudger and remove it from the device frame.

    Install the new charging port board

    Align the replacement charging port board into its recess at the bottom of the frame.

    Secure the new charging port board

    Reinsert and tighten the single Phillips screw to lock the new board in position.

    Reconnect the flex and antenna cables

    Snap the main interconnect flex cables and antenna coaxial leads back onto the new daughterboard.

    Reinstall the loudspeaker module

    Place the loudspeaker assembly back into position and secure it with its Phillips screws.

    Reconnect the battery flex cable

    Press the battery connector down onto the motherboard terminal until it clicks.

    Reinstall the wireless charging assembly

    Position the top cover, reconnect its ribbon flex, and secure all motherboard shield screws.

    Seal the back glass

    Apply new perimeter adhesive to the frame, press the back panel into position, and apply even pressure to bond.
