   Eject SIM tray and S-Pen

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the top edge to remove the SIM tray. Press and pop out the S-Pen from its slot.

   Heat the rear glass

   Use a heat gun or heated pad on the back panel edges for two minutes to soften the rear adhesive.

   Attach suction cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the glass back cover and pull up gently to create a small gap.

   Insert opening pick

   Insert a thin opening pick into the gap between the glass cover and the phone frame.

   Slice rear adhesive

   Slide the opening pick around all four perimeter edges of the phone to cut through the adhesive.

   Remove the back cover

   Carefully lift the rear glass off the frame and set it aside in a safe location.

   Unscrew upper motherboard bracket

   Remove the Phillips #00 screws securing the upper wireless charging pad and plastic cover.

   Disconnect wireless charging pad

   Use a plastic spudger to pry the wireless charging coil press connector straight up from the motherboard.

   Remove wireless charging coil

   Gently peel up the black wireless charging pad along with its attached plastic bracket.

    Disconnect the battery

    Pry the battery connector straight up from the motherboard to disconnect power before proceeding.

    Unscrew the loudspeaker assembly

    Remove the Phillips #00 screws holding the loudspeaker module down over the bottom daughterboard.

    Remove the loudspeaker

    Insert a spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker module and lift it out of the phone frame.

    Disconnect interconnect cables

    Pry up the main flex cable and display interconnect connectors attached to the daughterboard.

    Disconnect antenna cables

    Use precision tweezers to pop off the white and blue coaxial antenna connectors from the daughterboard.

    Remove daughterboard screw

    Unscrew the single Phillips #00 screw securing the charging port daughterboard to the chassis.

    Pry up charging port board

    Insert a spudger beneath the daughterboard and lever the USB-C assembly out of its recess.

    Position replacement daughterboard

    Align the new charging port board into the lower frame housing and press it flat.

    Secure daughterboard screw

    Reinstall the single Phillips #00 screw to lock the new daughterboard to the frame.

    Snap antenna cables into place

    Align and press the coaxial antenna connectors onto their headers on the daughterboard until they click.

    Reconnect interconnect cables

    Snap the main interconnect and display flex press connectors firmly onto the new board.

    Reinstall loudspeaker module

    Place the loudspeaker module into the lower cavity and secure it with its Phillips #00 screws.

    Reconnect the battery cable

    Press the battery connector back onto the motherboard header until it clicks.

    Reinstall wireless charging assembly

    Position the wireless pad, reattach its press connector, and tighten the upper bracket screws.

    Apply new rear adhesive

    Clean remaining adhesive off the frame using isopropyl alcohol, then stick fresh custom adhesive strips along the edges.

    Seal the back cover

    Align the rear glass with the phone frame and press firmly along all edges to seat the adhesive.
