Safety
- Wear eye protection when heating glass to avoid injury from unexpected cracks or splinters.
- Do not puncture or bend the battery while working inside the device.
- Disconnect the battery before replacing any internal flex cables to prevent electrical short circuits.

Step-by-step

Eject the S Pen
1 minPress the end of the S Pen until it clicks, then pull it out from the bottom slot of the Galaxy Note 10.

Extract the Worn S Pen Tip
2 minUse the nib removal tool to grip the tip of the S Pen firmly and pull it straight out of the stylus body.

Insert the New S Pen Tip
1 minSlide a new replacement nib into the tip of the S Pen and push gently until it locks into place.

Power Off the Device
1 minPress and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously, then tap Power Off on the screen.

Heat the Rear Glass
3 minApply a heat gun evenly around the outer edges of the rear glass for two minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

Apply a Suction Cup
2 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back glass and pull up gently to create a slight gap.

Slice the Rear Adhesive
4 minInsert a plastic opening pick into the gap and slice along the perimeter of the phone to free the rear glass.

Remove the Rear Glass
2 minLift the rear panel away from the frame and set it on a clean workspace.

Unscrew the Upper Midframe
3 minRemove the five Phillips #00 screws holding the top antenna plastic bracket and wireless charging coil in place.

Disconnect the Battery Cable
2 minUse the flat end of a spudger to pry the battery press connector straight up from the mainboard.

Disconnect the S Pen Sensor Cable
2 minLocate the S Pen charging sensor flex cable near the stylus slot and disconnect it using a spudger.

Replace the S Pen Charging Sensor
4 minGently peel the old S Pen charging coil flex cable out of the inner frame slot and press the new replacement coil into position.
