Remove S Pen and SIM Tray
1 minPress the S Pen to eject it from the bottom slot, then insert a SIM eject tool into the top frame to remove the SIM card tray.

Heat the Rear Glass Cover
2 minApply a heat gun or hair dryer along the edges of the rear cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup and Insert Pick
3 minPlace a suction cup on the lower back glass and pull upward firmly to create a gap. Slice a plastic opening pick into the gap.

Slice Around Rear Glass Adhesive
4 minSlide the plastic pick around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the remaining adhesive seal.

Lift Off the Rear Glass Cover
2 minGently lift the back glass off the phone chassis and place it on a clean surface.

Unscrew Wireless Charging Cover
3 minUse a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the five screws securing the upper wireless charging pad assembly.

Remove Wireless Charging Pad
2 minPry up the edges of the wireless charging pad and NFC assembly, then unclip it from the frame.

Disconnect the Battery Cable
1 minUse the edge of a plastic spudger to unsnap the battery connector straight up from the motherboard.

Unscrew Lower Loudspeaker Module
2 minRemove the five Phillips #000 screws holding the loudspeaker enclosure over the daughterboard.

Remove the Loudspeaker Module
2 minInsert a spudger under the top lip of the speaker module and lift it out of the lower chassis.

Disconnect Ribbon Cables from Daughterboard
2 minUnsnap the main interconnect cable and display flex cable connectors directly from the bottom daughterboard.

Remove Microphone Daughterboard
3 minGently pry underneath the daughterboard containing the primary microphone assembly to loosen the light adhesive and remove it.
