   Power off the phone

   Press and hold the side key and volume down button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Eject the S-Pen

   Press inward on the S-Pen tip until it clicks and pops out. Slide the S-Pen completely out of its slot.

   Remove the SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole on the top edge of the phone. Push firmly to eject the tray, then remove it.

   Heat the rear glass

   Apply a heat gun or heated pad around the outer edges of the rear glass for 2-3 minutes. This softens the strong adhesive holding the panel.

   Attach a suction cup

   Press a suction cup onto the lower third of the rear glass. Pull upward gently to create a thin gap between the glass and the frame.

   Insert an opening pick

   Insert the tip of a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Keep the pick flat to avoid pressing against internal components.

   Slice perimeter adhesive

   Slide the pick around all four edges of the phone to cut through the rear panel adhesive. Reheat the glass if you feel strong resistance.

   Lift off the rear glass

   Gently lift the back cover away from the phone body. Set the rear glass aside in a safe location.

   Unscrew top antenna bracket

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the five screws securing the upper wireless charging pad frame.

    Gently wedge a spudger under the charging port assembly and lift it out of the frame chassis.

    Set the new replacement daughterboard into the bottom cavity, ensuring the USB-C port aligns with the frame opening.

    Reinstall and tighten the single Phillips #00 screw to anchor the board into the frame.

    Reconnect antenna cables and flexes

    Snap the blue and white antenna connectors, display flex, and main interconnect flex back into their respective board sockets.
