   Remove the S Pen

   Press the S Pen inward until it clicks, then pull it out of the bottom slot.

   Eject the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the top edge of the phone. Push firmly to eject the tray and remove it.

   Heat Rear Glass Panel

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on medium heat along the edges of the back glass for 2-3 minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

   Attach Suction Handle

   Place a suction cup tool on the lower portion of the rear glass and press down to create a tight seal.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Pull up firmly on the suction handle to create a tiny gap at the bottom seam, then slide a plastic opening pick into the gap.

   Slice Adhesive Along Sides

   Slowly slide the opening pick along the left and right edges of the device to cut through the perimeter adhesive.

   Slice Top Edge Adhesive

   Slide the pick across the upper edge of the phone, being careful around the camera cutouts.

   Remove Rear Glass Cover

   Lift the rear glass panel away from the phone frame and set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew Wireless Charging Assembly

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the five screws holding down the wireless charging coil and top midframe.

    Detach Wireless Charging Coil

    Gently peel the wireless charging pad and upper antenna module away from the frame using tweezers.

    Disconnect Battery Cable

    Use the flat end of a spudger to pry the battery press connector straight up from the motherboard to kill power.

    Unscrew Loudspeaker Assembly

    Remove the five Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker cover over the daughterboard.

    Pry Out Loudspeaker

    Insert a plastic spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker assembly and lift it out of the chassis.

    Disconnect Main Interconnect Cable

    Pry up the main flex ribbon cable connector from the bottom charging port daughterboard.

    Disconnect Display Flex Cable

    Use your spudger to detach the display flex cable press connector located on the charging port board.

    Disconnect Antenna Cables

    Carefully pry up the blue and white coaxial antenna cables from their daughterboard sockets using tweezers.

    Unscrew Charging Port Board

    Remove the three Phillips #00 screws securing the daughterboard to the lower frame.

    Pry Out Charging Port Board

    Gently wedge a spudger underneath the charging port daughterboard and lift it out of its recessed slot.

    Insert New Charging Port Board

    Align the replacement USB-C daughterboard into the lower housing and press it firmly into position.

    Secure Charging Port Screws

    Reinstall the three Phillips #00 screws to hold the new charging port board flush against the frame.

    Reconnect Antenna Cables

    Use tweezers to align and gently snap the white and blue coaxial antenna connectors back onto the daughterboard.

    Reconnect Flex Cables

    Align and press down both the main interconnect and display flex cables onto the daughterboard until they click.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker Assembly

    Set the loudspeaker back over the daughterboard and secure it with its five Phillips #00 screws.

    Reconnect Battery Connector

    Align the battery press connector over its socket on the motherboard and press down until it snaps in place.

    Reinstall Wireless Charging Assembly

    Place the top midframe and wireless coil back into position, securing it with the five Phillips #00 screws.

    Apply New Rear Cover Adhesive

    Clean remaining old glue from the frame with isopropyl alcohol, then lay down a pre-cut replacement adhesive strip.

    Press Rear Glass Into Place

    Align the back glass panel precisely over the housing and apply firm pressure along all edges to seal it.

    Reinsert SIM Tray and S Pen

    Slide the SIM card tray back into the top slot and push the S Pen back into its dock until it clicks.
