Eject the S Pen

Heat the rear glass cover
3 minApply heat to the outer edges of the rear glass for two minutes using a heat gun or iOpener to soften the adhesive.

Attach a suction handle to the rear glass

Insert an opening pick
2 minPull up on the suction handle to create a small gap, then slide a thin opening pick into the seam.

Pry the battery from the chassis
5 minInsert a plastic opening card underneath the battery from the long edge and gently pry up until the adhesive releases.

2 minScrape away residual glue from the metal frame using a plastic spudger and wipe the area clean with alcohol.

2 minLay fresh pre-cut adhesive strips evenly across the battery recess inside the middle frame.
