Eject the SIM tray and S Pen
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the tray hole to pop out the tray, then press and pull out the S Pen.

Heat the rear glass panel
2 minApply heat evenly around the outer edges of the rear panel for two minutes using a heat gun to soften adhesive.

Attach the suction handle
1 minPress a suction cup onto the bottom edge of the back panel and pull up firmly to create a small gap.

Insert an opening pick
1 minInsert a thin plastic opening pick into the gap between the rear panel and the frame.

Slice the perimeter adhesive

2 minApply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol along the top and side gaps of the battery bay.

Pry the battery from the chassis
4 minSlide a plastic opening card under the side of the battery and slowly lever it up from the adhesive.

Clean the battery recess
2 minScrape away old adhesive residue inside the frame using isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth.

Apply new battery adhesive
2 minLay pre-cut double-sided adhesive strips into the clean battery well and peel away the protective backing.

Install the new battery
1 minAlign the replacement battery in the well and press down firmly to secure it to the fresh adhesive.

Reconnect the flex cables
2 minAttach the main interconnect flex cable, then snap the new battery flex connector into place.
