   Heat the Back Cover

   Apply heat around the outer edges of the back panel for 2 to 3 minutes using a heat gun to soften the adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup onto the lower portion of the back panel and pull up firmly to create a slight gap.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Insert an opening pick into the gap and slowly slide it along all four edges to slice through the adhesive seal.

   Remove Back Panel

   Carefully lift the back cover off the chassis and set it aside on your work surface.

   Unscrew Midframe Bracket

   Remove the 13 Phillips #00 screws securing the plastic motherboard midframe cover to the body.

   Pry Off Upper Cover

   Insert a spudger under the notch on the upper midframe cover and gently pry it off the phone.

   Disconnect Battery Connector

   Use a plastic spudger to pop the battery press connector straight up off the logic board.

   Disconnect Interconnect Cables

   Unplug the display flex cable and sub-board interconnect cable from their logic board sockets.

   Unplug Antenna Cables

   Use fine tweezers to gently pry up the antenna coaxial connectors from the logic board.

    Remove Front Camera

    Disconnect the front-facing camera flex connector and pull the camera module out from its housing.

    Eject SIM Tray

    Insert a SIM eject pin into the tray hole at the top edge of the frame to remove the SIM tray.

    Unscrew Logic Board

    Remove the single Phillips #00 screw anchoring the logic board to the internal aluminum frame.

    Remove Logic Board

    Gently pry beneath the bottom edge of the logic board with a spudger and lift it out of the chassis.
