Slice the rear adhesive
3 minInsert a plastic opening pick into the gap and slide it along the edges to slice through the adhesive.

Remove the back cover

Unscrew the midframe
3 minRemove the 14 Phillips #00 screws holding the plastic midframe assembly to the phone body.

Disconnect the battery
1 minPry up the battery flex cable connector from the motherboard using a plastic spudger.

Pry up the loudspeaker module
2 minInsert a spudger under the lower loudspeaker housing and release it from the retaining clips.

Remove the old loudspeaker
1 minLift the original loudspeaker module out of the lower frame chassis.

Position the new loudspeaker
2 minLower the replacement loudspeaker module into the lower frame housing and press gently to seat it.

Reconnect the battery
1 minAlign the battery flex cable over its motherboard socket and press down firmly until it clicks.

Reinstall the midframe screws
3 minPlace the midframe back onto the chassis and secure it using the 14 Phillips #00 screws.

Apply new adhesive
2 minApply replacement adhesive strips along the phone's outer bezel.

Reattach the back cover
2 minAlign the rear cover with the frame and press firmly around all edges to bond the adhesive.

Reinsert the SIM tray
