   Eject SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the top edge of the phone. Push firmly straight in until the SIM tray pops out, then pull it out completely.

   Heat Rear Cover

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer set to medium heat to warm the back cover perimeter for 2 minutes. This softens the adhesive securing the rear glass panel.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the rear cover. Ensure a tight seal near the bottom edge.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Pull up on the suction handle to create a tiny gap, then slide a thin plastic prying pick into the seam. Do not insert the pick more than 5mm to avoid internal components.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Slide the plastic pick along the lower, side, and top edges of the phone. Reapply gentle heat if the pick meets heavy resistance.

   Remove Back Cover

   Gently lift the back cover off the chassis once all adhesive is cut. Set the rear cover aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew Upper Housing

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws holding the upper motherboard shield in place. Keep screws organized for reassembly.

   Detach Upper Frame Shield

   Unscrew Loudspeaker Module

    Disconnect Sub-Board Flex

    Pry up the lower display press connector attached to the daughterboard near the bottom of the device. Lift the cable end free.

    Heat Front Screen Assembly

    Apply heat around the perimeter of the front glass screen for 2 to 3 minutes to loosen the screen glue.

    Attach Front Suction Handle

    Press your suction cup firmly onto the front glass panel near the bottom edge. Ensure a strong hold on the glass surface.

    Pry Screen Perimeter

    Pull up on the suction cup and slip an opening pick between the glass screen and the outer frame rim. Carefully slice around all four sides.

    Remove Damaged Screen Panel

    Slowly pivot the top edge of the screen panel up while feeding its flex cable through the slot in the frame. Discard the old display.

    Scrape Residual Adhesive

    Use plastic prying tools or tweezers to remove all remaining tape and dried adhesive from the inner frame ledge. Clear away any broken glass bits.

    Clean Frame Rim

    Dampen a lint-free cloth with 99% isopropyl alcohol and wipe down the display seating area on the frame. Ensure the surface is completely oil-free.

    Apply Screen Adhesive

    Lay cut double-sided adhesive strips along the top, bottom, and side frame ledges. Press firmly and remove the backing film.

    Seat New Display Panel

    Thread the replacement screen's flex cable through the frame slot. Align the panel edges carefully with the frame and press it flat.

    Attach Screen Flex Cables

    Align and snap the display flex press connectors into their sockets on the motherboard and sub-board until they click.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker and Shields

    Position the lower loudspeaker and upper motherboard plastic shield back onto the chassis frame, snapping them into alignment.

    Reinsert and tighten all the Phillips #000 screws securing the upper shield and lower speaker module back into place.

    Seal Rear Cover

    Apply thin adhesive strips around the rear rim, then press the back cover firmly onto the phone for 30 seconds to set the seal.
