   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the Side button and Volume Down button, then tap Power Off. Ensure the phone is completely powered down before starting.

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole adjacent to the SIM tray. Press firmly to eject the tray and pull it out.

   Heat the Rear Cover

   Apply heat evenly around the outer edges of the back cover using a heat gun for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach the Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup onto the lower portion of the rear panel and press firmly to secure suction.

   Insert an Opening Pick

   Pull up on the suction cup to create a small gap, then slide a plastic opening pick beneath the back cover.

   Slice the Rear Adhesive

   Slide the pick around the full perimeter of the phone frame to slice through all remaining adhesive.

   Remove the Back Cover

   Gently lift the back panel off the chassis and set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the Upper Cover

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper motherboard shield.

   Pry Off Upper Cover

   Insert a spudger under the edge of the upper plastic cover and pop it off the frame.

    Disconnect the Battery

    Use a plastic spudger to pry the battery connector directly up from its socket on the motherboard.

    Unscrew Lower Speaker Housing

    Remove the Phillips screws holding the lower speaker assembly over the daughterboard.

    Remove Lower Speaker Assembly

    Lift the speaker housing up and away from the lower section of the phone frame.

    Disconnect Main Interconnect Cable

    Pry up the flex cable connector that connects the mainboard to the lower charging daughterboard.

    Disconnect Coaxial Cables

    Use tweezers to carefully unsnap the blue and white antenna coaxial cables from the daughterboard.

    Remove Daughterboard Screw

    Remove the single Phillips screw securing the charging port daughterboard to the lower housing.

    Remove Old Daughterboard

    Pry gently under the edge of the daughterboard and remove it from the device chassis.

    Insert New Daughterboard

    Align the replacement charging port board into the lower recess of the phone frame.

    Secure Daughterboard Screw

    Reinstall and tighten the Phillips screw securing the daughterboard in place.

    Reconnect Coaxial Cables

    Carefully align and snap the antenna cable connectors back onto their daughterboard headers.

    Press the main flex connector firmly onto the daughterboard until it clicks into place.

    Reinstall Speaker Housing

    Place the lower speaker assembly back into position over the daughterboard.

    Tighten the Phillips screws to secure the speaker housing to the phone frame.

    Reconnect Battery Cable

    Align and press the battery connector back onto its motherboard socket.

    Reinstall Upper Plastic Shield

    Position the top plastic cover and secure it using all previously removed Phillips screws.

    Apply New Rear Adhesive

    Apply custom pre-cut adhesive strips along the edges of the phone frame.

    Seal the Back Cover

    Align the back cover over the frame and press firmly along all edges to bond the adhesive.

    Reinsert SIM Tray

    Slide the SIM card tray back into its slot on the side of the phone until flush.
