   Power Off Device

   Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons, then tap Power Off on the screen.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray on the left side of the phone and push firmly to eject it.

   Heat Back Cover

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on low setting to heat the outer edges of the rear panel for about 2 minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull up gently to create a small gap.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Insert a thin plastic prying tool or opening pick into the gap created beneath the back cover.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Slide the prying tool slowly around all four edges of the back panel to separate the adhesive.

   Remove Back Cover

   Carefully lift the back cover off the chassis and set it aside in a clean workspace.

   Unscrew Midframe

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove all visible screws securing the plastic midframe assembly.

   Unclip Midframe

   Insert a spudger between the midframe and front assembly, gently levering it off to release the plastic clips.

    Detach Battery Cable

    Use the flat end of a plastic spudger to pry the battery connector straight up from the motherboard.

    Disconnect Interconnect Flex

    Disconnect the main ribbon cable connector connecting the motherboard to the lower daughterboard.

    Disconnect Display Cable

    Unplug the display flex cable press-connector from the lower sub-board using a plastic spudger.

    Disconnect Antenna Coaxial Cables

    Use tweezers to carefully lift the coaxial antenna cable heads straight off the sub-board terminals.

    Remove Daughterboard Screw

    Remove the single Phillips #000 screw holding the charging port sub-board to the frame.

    Remove Charging Port Sub-Board

    Gently wedge a plastic spudger underneath the daughterboard and lift the charging port assembly out of the phone frame.

    Position New Sub-Board

    Place the replacement charging port sub-board into the lower housing, aligning it carefully with the frame cutouts.

    Secure Daughterboard Screw

    Reinsert and tighten the Phillips #000 screw to lock the new sub-board into place.

    Reconnect Antenna Cables

    Align and gently press the antenna cable connectors back onto their corresponding sub-board sockets.

    Reconnect Flex Cables

    Snap the main interconnect cable and display cable connectors firmly onto the daughterboard.

    Press the battery connector straight down into its socket on the motherboard until it clicks.

    Reinstall Midframe

    Snap the plastic midframe back over the phone body, pressing along the edges, then secure it with all Phillips screws.

    Seal Back Cover

    Apply new adhesive tape along the perimeter and press the rear cover firmly into place.
