Power Off Device

Eject SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray on the left side of the phone and push firmly to eject it.

Heat Back Cover
2 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer on low setting to heat the outer edges of the rear panel for about 2 minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup
1 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull up gently to create a small gap.

Insert Opening Pick
1 minInsert a thin plastic prying tool or opening pick into the gap created beneath the back cover.

Slice Rear Adhesive
3 minSlide the prying tool slowly around all four edges of the back panel to separate the adhesive.

Remove Back Cover
1 minCarefully lift the back cover off the chassis and set it aside in a clean workspace.

3 minUse a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove all visible screws securing the plastic midframe assembly.

Remove Daughterboard Screw
1 minRemove the single Phillips #000 screw holding the charging port sub-board to the frame.

Remove Charging Port Sub-Board
2 minGently wedge a plastic spudger underneath the daughterboard and lift the charging port assembly out of the phone frame.

Position New Sub-Board
2 minPlace the replacement charging port sub-board into the lower housing, aligning it carefully with the frame cutouts.

Secure Daughterboard Screw
1 minReinsert and tighten the Phillips #000 screw to lock the new sub-board into place.

Reconnect Antenna Cables
2 minAlign and gently press the antenna cable connectors back onto their corresponding sub-board sockets.

Reconnect Flex Cables
2 minSnap the main interconnect cable and display cable connectors firmly onto the daughterboard.
