   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the phone is completely powered down before proceeding.

   Eject SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole on the left side of the phone. Press firmly until the tray pops out, then pull it out of the slot.

   Pry back panel edge

   Insert a thin plastic prying tool into the seam between the plastic back cover and the screen bezel near the SIM slot. Twist slightly to undo the first clip.

   Unclip remaining back cover perimeter

   Slide the prying tool along all four edges of the housing to release all plastic clips. Lift and remove the back cover from the phone.

   Unscrew upper midframe cover

    Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the front display glass and press down to firmly seal it.

    Create opening gap beneath display

    Pull up on the suction cup while inserting a plastic screen removal pick between the front glass panel and the frame.

    Slice display adhesive

    Slide the plastic pick carefully around all four sides of the screen to cut through the remaining perimeter adhesive.

    Separate broken screen from frame

    Lift the display assembly off the frame, threading the attached flex cable gently through the midframe slot.

    Clean adhesive residue from frame

    Scrape remaining glue remnants off the housing lip using a spudger, then wipe the area clean with isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply double-sided adhesive strips

    Apply thin strips of double-sided adhesive along the inner ledge of the frame where the original glue sat.

    Route new screen flex cable

    Feed the ribbon cable of the new screen assembly through the slot in the front frame chassis.

    Press new screen into frame

    Align the replacement glass precisely with the phone edges, then press down around the perimeter to adhere it firmly.

    Reconnect display flex cable

    Align and press the display flex cable socket onto its matching motherboard terminal until it clicks into place.

    Reconnect battery flex cable

    Press the battery flex cable connector straight down into its socket on the motherboard.

    Reinstall lower speaker housing

    Position the lower speaker cover over the bottom daughterboard and push down to seat it.

    Reinstall all lower Phillips screws into the speaker module until snug.

    Reinstall upper midframe cover

    Place the upper plastic motherboard cover over the top assembly, clipping it into place.

    Tighten the upper Phillips screws to hold the motherboard bracket firmly in place.

    Reattach back cover panel

    Position the rear plastic panel over the chassis and press firmly along the edges to snap all internal clips shut.
