Power Off the Device

Eject the SIM Tray

Warm the Rear Panel
2 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer around the outer edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Slice Rear Panel Adhesive
4 minApply a suction cup to the lower back cover, gently pull up, and slide a plastic opening pick under the gap to cut the perimeter glue.

Remove the Rear Panel

Pry Out the Faulty Power Button Cable
2 minSlide the edge of a spudger under the old power button flex cable to loosen its light adhesive and lift it out.

Install the New Power Button Flex Cable
2 minPeel off any protective backing on the replacement cable, align it inside the side frame cutout, and press firmly.

Reinstall the Power Button Bracket
1 minPosition the metal retaining bracket over the power button assembly and press down until it snaps securely.

Reconnect the Power Button Flex Cable
1 minPress the power button flex connector down into its motherboard socket until you feel a light click.
