Power off the device
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen to shut down the phone completely.

Eject the SIM card tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left side of the device to pop out the SIM tray, then pull it out completely.

Heat the back cover
2 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer to evenly heat the perimeter of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach a suction cup
1 minPress a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and gently pull upward to create a slight gap.

Insert an opening pick
1 minSlide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created between the back cover and the midframe.

Pry up the loudspeaker module
1 minInsert the flat end of a spudger beneath the loudspeaker housing edge and pop it up out of the frame.

1 minAlign the new loudspeaker module into the lower frame cavity and press it gently into position.

Snap the loudspeaker cover in place
1 minPosition the plastic speaker cover over the lower assembly and press down until it sits flush.

Secure the speaker screws
2 minReinstall the seven Phillips #000 screws to hold the loudspeaker cover firmly to the chassis.

Reconnect the battery cable
