   Power off the device completely

   Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously until the power menu appears. Select Power Off and wait for the screen to turn completely black.

   Remove the SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole beside the SIM card tray on the left edge. Push firmly to eject the tray and pull it out.

   Heat the back panel edges

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat to warm the outer perimeter of the back panel for two minutes. This softens the factory adhesive underneath.

   Attach a suction cup to the back panel

    Pull up on the suction cup and slide a thin prying pick between the glass screen and the outer chassis frame.

    Slice screen adhesive around frame

    Slide plastic picks along all four sides of the front glass to completely separate the screen adhesive from the frame.

    Separate screen assembly from frame

    Lift the damaged display away, threading the display flex cable through the frame slot cleanly.

    Clean residual adhesive from frame

    Scrape off residual glue from the frame bevel using a spudger and clean the surface with a lint-free wipe and isopropyl alcohol.

    Lay double-sided adhesive strips along the inner frame perimeter, ensuring no holes or sensor cutouts are covered.

    Mount the replacement screen

    Thread the flex cable of the new display through the frame slot, align the screen properly, and press it firmly into the frame adhesive.

    Reconnect display flex cable

    Align the display flex connector over its motherboard socket and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
