Remove SIM tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left side of the frame to pop out and remove the SIM card tray.

Heat back cover
2 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat around the outer edges of the rear panel for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach suction cup
1 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull upward gently to create a slight gap.

Insert opening pick
1 minInsert a plastic prying pick into the gap created between the frame and back cover.

Slice perimeter adhesive
3 minSlowly slide the opening pick around all four edges of the phone to cut through the perimeter adhesive.

Lift off back cover

2 minGently pry up the antenna cable connector from its socket on the charging board using precision tweezers.

Pry up charging daughterboard
2 minInsert a spudger beneath the old charging board assembly and pry it up from the adhesive beneath it.

Clean board recess
2 minWipe away old adhesive residue from the daughterboard recess using a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol.

Position replacement board
2 minAlign the replacement charging port daughterboard into the frame recess and press it gently into place.

Reconnect antenna cable
2 minUse tweezers to position the coaxial antenna cable head and snap it directly onto the new board terminal.

Reconnect main flex cable
1 minAlign the main interconnect flex connector over its socket on the daughterboard and press down until it clicks.

Reinstall speaker module
2 minPlace the lower speaker housing back over the daughterboard assembly and press down to seat it.

Secure speaker screws
3 minReinsert and tighten the Phillips screws into the lower speaker housing.

Apply back cover adhesive
3 minLay down fresh adhesive strips along the rim of the phone chassis to ensure a tight seal.

Reattach back cover
2 minAlign the rear cover with the phone body and press firmly along all edges to seat the adhesive.

Reinsert SIM tray
