Power Down the Device

Heat the Rear Cover
2 minApply heat evenly around the perimeter of the back cover using a heat gun for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Insert an Opening Pick
2 minPull up on the suction cup handle to form a small gap, then insert a plastic pick under the edge.

2 minAlign the new charging port sub-board into the lower housing recess and press it flush into position.
