   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously until the power menu appears. Select Power Off to completely shut down the phone.

   Eject the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray on the upper left edge. Push firmly to pop the tray out and remove it.

   Heat the Back Panel

   Apply heat to the edges of the plastic back cover using a heat gun or hair dryer on low for about two minutes. This softens the factory perimeter adhesive.

   Attach the Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup onto the lower portion of the back cover and press down securely. Pull gently upward on the ring to create a small gap near the edge.

   Insert an Opening Pick

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created between the rear cover and the frame. Do not push the pick in too deep to avoid damaging internal ribbons.

   Slice the Perimeter Adhesive

   Slide the pick slowly around all four edges of the back panel to slice through the adhesive. Reapply mild heat if the pick encounters strong resistance.

   Remove the Back Cover

   Lift the back panel away from the chassis. Set it aside on a clean, dust-free surface.

   Unscrew the Midframe

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove all visible screws securing the plastic midframe and lower speaker cover. Keep track of screw locations.

   Unclip the Plastic Midframe

   Insert a flat spudger along the outer seam of the midframe to release its plastic retaining clips. Lift the upper midframe section off the device.

    Disconnect the Battery

    Use the flat edge of a spudger to pry the battery press connector straight up from the motherboard socket. Disconnecting power prevents accidental short circuits.

    Unscrew the Speaker Housing

    Remove the remaining Phillips screws holding the bottom loudspeaker assembly to the phone chassis. Place the screws on your workspace mat.

    Pry Out the Old Loudspeaker

    Wedge the tip of a spudger under the notch of the loudspeaker module at the bottom of the device. Gently pry upward to release it from the frame.

    Clean the Speaker Recess

    Inspect the lower speaker cavity for dirt or residual tape. Clean the area gently using a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.

    Install the New Loudspeaker

    Position the new loudspeaker module into the lower frame housing alignment recess. Press down gently until it sits flush against the gold spring contacts.

    Secure the Speaker Screws

    Reinstall and tighten the Phillips screws into the lower speaker housing until snug. Avoid overtightening to prevent stripping plastic threads.

    Reconnect the Battery

    Align the battery connector over its motherboard socket and press down firmly until it clicks into place.

    Reattach the Midframe

    Snap the upper plastic midframe back over the motherboard and press around the perimeter. Fasten all remaining midframe screws securely.

    Apply Back Panel Adhesive

    Peel and position a fresh pre-cut adhesive gasket along the frame edges. Remove the protective backing to expose the adhesive.

    Reseal the Back Cover

    Align the back panel with the phone edges and press down firmly. Apply continuous pressure around all borders for 30 seconds to ensure a secure seal.
