Eject SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole next to the SIM tray on the bottom edge. Push firmly to eject the tray and remove it.
- 3
Heat Back Cover
3 minApply heat to the outer edges of the rear glass cover for two minutes using a heat gun. Keep the heat gun moving constantly to avoid spot-heating.
- 4
Attach Suction Cup
2 minPress a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the rear glass. Pull upward on the handle to create a small separation gap along the seam.
- 5
Insert Opening Pick
2 minInsert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Keep the pick flat against the glass surface.
- 6
Slice Rear Adhesive
5 minSlide the pick continuously around all four sides of the rear glass to slice the adhesive. Reapply heat if you meet heavy resistance.
- 7
Lift Off Rear Cover

Unscrew Mainboard Cover
3 minUse a Phillips screwdriver to remove all screws holding down the upper mainboard bracket cover. Keep track of screw locations for reassembly.
