   Power down the device

   Turn off your OnePlus Nord 2T completely before starting any disassembly to prevent electrical shorts.

   Eject the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the bottom of the phone to remove the SIM card tray.

   Apply heat to the back cover

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat around the outer edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach a suction cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear glass and pull gently to create a tiny gap.

   Insert an opening pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created between the glass back panel and the frame.

   Slice through the adhesive

   Slide the pick slowly along all four edges of the back panel to cut through the remaining adhesive.

   Remove the back panel

   Carefully lift the rear glass panel away from the body and set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the main motherboard cover

   Remove all Phillips #00 screws holding the upper motherboard cover and camera protection bracket in place.

   Detach the upper shield

   Pry up gently with a spudger to lift and remove the upper plastic motherboard shield.

    Disconnect the battery cable

    Use a flat plastic spudger to detach the battery press connector from the motherboard to cut power.

    Unscrew the lower speaker housing

    Remove the Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker assembly to the lower frame.

    Remove the loudspeaker assembly

    Insert a spudger underneath the edge of the speaker module and pop it out of the chassis.

    Disconnect the interconnect flex cable

    Pry up the main interconnect ribbon cable connector from the charging sub-board.

    Disconnect the display flex connector

    Unplug the display flex connector from the charging port sub-board using the pointed end of a spudger.

    Disconnect the coaxial antenna cable

    Use precision tweezers to unclip the coaxial antenna cable from its terminal on the daughterboard.

    Unscrew the sub-board

    Remove the single Phillips #00 screw holding the charging port sub-board to the frame.

    Pry out the old charging port board

    Gently wedge a flat spudger under the edge of the sub-board and lift it out of the lower cavity.

    Set the new charging port board

    Align the replacement charging port board over the lower housing pins and press it into place.

    Secure the sub-board screw

    Tighten the Phillips #00 screw to lock the new daughterboard into the frame.

    Reconnect coaxial antenna cables

    Carefully align and snap the coaxial antenna cable back onto its connector port.

    Reconnect flex cables

    Press down firmly to snap the display cable and main interconnect flex cable back onto the sub-board.

    Reinstall the speaker assembly

    Position the loudspeaker module back over the sub-board and secure all of its retaining screws.

    Reconnect the battery

    Attach the battery flex connector back to its motherboard socket.

    Reinstall the upper shield

    Realign the upper motherboard cover and tighten all Phillips screws to secure it.

    Apply fresh adhesive tape

    Remove old adhesive remnants from the frame perimeter and lay down new pre-cut adhesive tape.

    Reseal the back panel

    Press the rear glass firmly along all edges to ensure a tight seal with the chassis.

    Reinsert the SIM tray

    Push the SIM card tray back into its slot on the bottom edge of the phone.
