Power Off and Eject SIM Tray
1 minTurn off your OnePlus Nord 2T completely. Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the bottom frame to pop out the SIM tray.

Heat Back Cover Edges
3 minApply a heat gun or heated iOpener around all edges of the rear glass for 2–3 minutes to soften the strong adhesive.

1 minPress a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the rear panel just above the USB-C port.

Insert Opening Pick
2 minPull up gently on the suction cup to create a small gap at the bottom edge, then slide a thin plastic opening pick into the seam.

Slice Perimeter Adhesive
4 minSlide the opening pick along the bottom, sides, and top edges of the phone to cut through the perimeter adhesive gasket.

Remove Rear Glass Panel
1 minLift the rear glass off the frame and place it aside safely on a clean, soft surface.

Unscrew Motherboard Frame
3 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all 10 visible screws securing the upper motherboard plastic shield.

Remove Motherboard Shield
2 minInsert the point of a spudger under the edge of the motherboard shield and gently pry up to unclip and remove it.

Disconnect Battery Press Connector
1 minUse a plastic spudger to pry the battery flex cable connector straight up from its motherboard socket.

1 minUnplug the main display ribbon cable that crosses over the top edge of the battery pouch.

Apply Isopropyl Alcohol
2 minDrip 2–3 drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol along the left and right edges of the battery to weaken the glue.

Peel Back Battery Pull-Tabs
2 minLocate the green pull-tab film labeled with arrows on the surface of the battery and peel back the clear protective flaps.

Pull Battery Tab Firmly
3 minGrasp the central green tab securely and pull straight upward with steady, even force until the battery separates from the chassis.

Clean Battery Cavity
2 minUse tweezers and a lint-free wipe dampened with isopropyl alcohol to clear away old adhesive residue from the metal recess.

Apply New Battery Adhesive
2 minPeel the backing off new custom battery adhesive strips and press them firmly into the phone's battery cavity.

Install New Battery
2 minAlign the replacement battery into the tray and press it firmly into place against the fresh adhesive.

Reconnect Flex Cables
2 minSnap the main interconnect cable and the battery press connector back onto their respective motherboard headers.

Secure Motherboard Shield
3 minPlace the motherboard bracket back into position and tighten the 10 Phillips #00 screws until snug.
