   Press and hold the Power button, then tap Power Off. Ensure the phone is completely shut down before proceeding.

   Eject the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray on the bottom edge. Push firmly to eject the tray and remove it completely.

   Heat the back panel

   Use a heat gun or hairdryer to apply gentle heat around the rear cover edges for two minutes. This softens the factory adhesive holding the rear glass.

   Attach suction cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel. Press down firmly to create a secure vacuum seal.

   Slice rear adhesive

   Pull up on the suction cup to create a small gap, then insert an opening pick. Slide the pick around all four edges to cut through the adhesive.

   Remove back cover

   Lift the rear glass panel off the chassis. Set it aside on a clean, scratch-free surface.

   Remove the Phillips #00 screws securing the plastic motherboard bracket. Keep the screws organized for reassembly.

    Pry off old screen

    Attach a suction cup to the display, pull to form a small seam, and insert an opening pick. Slice around all edges to separate the display from the frame.

    Clean frame residue

    Dampen a lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol and scrub away old adhesive remnants from the perimeter frame. Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry.

    Apply new display adhesive

    Place pre-cut display adhesive strips around the inner edges of the phone frame. Peel away the protective film backing.

    Install new display assembly

    Thread the new display flex cable through the frame cutout and press the screen flat into the housing. Apply light pressure along the edges to seal.

    Reconnect flex cables and reassemble
