   Power Off the Phone

   Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is entirely powered down before starting.

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject pin into the hole on the bottom edge of the frame. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then set it aside.

   Heat the Rear Glass

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer along the back edges of the rear glass for 2–3 minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

   Attach the Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the rear glass near the bottom edge. Pull upward slightly to create a tiny gap between the frame and glass.

   Insert an Opening Pick

   Slide an opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Be careful not to insert it deeper than 5 mm to avoid damaging internal cables.

   Slice the Perimeter Adhesive

   Glide the opening pick along the edges of the rear cover to cut through all sides of the adhesive gasket. Reapply heat if the pick begins to drag.

   Remove the Rear Glass

   Lift the rear glass cover away from the phone body completely once the perimeter adhesive is fully severed.

   Unbolt the Motherboard Cover

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 10 screws securing the plastic upper motherboard shield.

   Unbolt the Speaker Enclosure

   Unscrew the 7 Phillips #00 screws holding down the lower speaker assembly at the bottom of the frame.

    Pry Off the Upper Shield

    Insert the flat end of a spudger under the motherboard shield and gently unclip it from the frame.

    Remove the Speaker Assembly

    Pry up the lower speaker module from its housing and lift it away from the phone.

    Disconnect the Battery Cable

    Use the pointed end of a plastic spudger to pop the battery press connector directly off the motherboard to kill power.

    Disconnect the Interconnect Cable

    Unplug the main flex cable press connectors on both the motherboard end and the lower sub-board end.

    Remove the Interconnect Cable

    Lift the loose interconnect flex cable away from the battery compartment and store it safely.

    Unpeel the Side Adhesive Tabs

    Locate the red adhesive tabs labeled A and B on the battery sides, then peel them back from the top of the battery casing.

    Pull the Main Battery Pull Tab

    Grasp the central clear pull tab firmly and pull upward with steady pressure to release the battery from its well.

    Lift Out the Battery

    Remove the old battery once the adhesive seal breaks completely. Never use metal tools to lever out the battery.

    Clean the Frame Recess

    Apply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol to clean out remaining adhesive debris from the phone chassis.

    Apply New Battery Adhesive

    Place new double-sided battery adhesive strips squarely onto the rear frame recess or back of the replacement battery.

    Install the Replacement Battery

    Lower the new battery into the well, press down firmly across its surface, and ensure it lays flush.

    Reconnect the Flex Cables

    Reattach the main interconnect cable and press the new battery connector firmly onto its motherboard socket.

    Reinstall Internal Covers

    Snap the upper motherboard shield and bottom speaker assembly back into position and tighten all Phillips screws.

    Apply Rear Cover Adhesive

    Place a pre-cut rear glass adhesive gasket around the perimeter of the phone frame.

    Align the rear glass cover over the chassis and press firmly along all four edges to bond the adhesive completely.
