   Power Off the Phone

   Press and hold the Power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Remove the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole beside the SIM tray on the left edge. Push firmly to eject the tray and pull it out.

   Heat the Rear Cover

   Apply moderate heat around the outer edges of the rear plastic panel for about two minutes using a heat gun or hair dryer. This softens the light perimeter adhesive and makes clipping easier.

   Unclip the Rear Cover

   Insert an opening pick into the seam between the rear cover and the front display frame. Slide the pick along all sides to disengage the internal plastic clips.

   Disconnect the Fingerprint Cable

   Gently lift the right edge of the rear cover like a book. Use a spudger to carefully disconnect the fingerprint sensor flex cable from the motherboard before fully removing the cover.

   Remove the Rear Cover

   Lift the rear cover away from the phone body completely and set it aside.

   Unscrew the Speaker Housing

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the seven screws securing the lower loudspeaker housing.

   Pry Out the Speaker Module

   Insert the flat end of a spudger under the notch of the loudspeaker enclosure and gently pry it up to remove it.

   Disconnect the Interconnect Cable

   Use the flat end of a spudger to snap the main interconnect ribbon cable connector off the charging daughterboard.

    Disconnect the Antenna Cable

    Grasp the white coaxial antenna cable connector near the sub-board with tweezers and pop it straight up from its socket.

    Remove the Charging Port Board

    Pry gently beneath the charging port sub-board using a spudger to break any remaining light adhesive, then lift it out of the housing.

    Insert the New Charging Port Board

    Position the new charging port sub-board into the lower recess of the phone frame, ensuring the USB-C port aligns with the bottom cutout.

    Reconnect the Antenna Cable

    Align the antenna cable head over its socket on the new daughterboard and press down gently until it snaps into place.

    Attach the Main Flex Cable

    Align the press connector of the main interconnect ribbon cable over its matching header and press down firmly to connect it.

    Reinstall the Speaker Module

    Lower the loudspeaker housing back over the bottom sub-board assembly and press down so it sits flush.

    Secure the Lower Screws

    Replace and tighten the seven Phillips #000 screws holding the loudspeaker assembly in place.

    Attach Fingerprint Sensor Cable

    Hold the rear cover close to the frame and press the fingerprint sensor flex connector onto its motherboard socket using a spudger.

    Snap Rear Cover On

    Align the back cover over the phone and press firmly along the edges until all plastic tabs snap securely into place.

    Reinsert the SIM Tray

    Slide the SIM card tray back into its slot on the side of the device until it sits completely flush.
