Power Down Device

2 minSlide tweezers carefully underneath the volume flex ribbon and peel it off the side frame.

Clean Recess Cavity
2 minClean residue and dirt from the inner volume button recess using a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol.

Install New Volume Cable
3 minAlign the replacement volume button flex cable inside the frame slot and press down to adhere it.

Attach Volume Cable Connector
1 minPosition the volume cable connector over the motherboard socket and press down firmly to snap it in place.

Reconnect Battery Cable
1 minSnap the battery flex connector back onto its motherboard socket.

Reinstall Motherboard Housing
2 minPlace the upper motherboard housing over the board and press it into position until it clips in.
