Eject SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool or paperclip into the hole beside the SIM tray on the left edge to pop it out.

Warm the Rear Panel
2 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer on medium setting around the outer edges of the rear panel for 1 to 2 minutes to soften the perimeter adhesive.

Slice Rear Panel Adhesive
4 minInsert a thin plastic opening pick into the seam between the rear cover and frame, sliding it around all sides to release the clips and adhesive.

Disconnect Fingerprint Sensor Cable
2 minSlightly lift the rear cover and use a spudger to detach the fingerprint press-fit connector from the motherboard shield.

Unscrew Motherboard Cover Screws

Pry and Remove Logic Board
3 minInsert a spudger underneath the edge of the logic board and lift it out of the phone frame.

Position Replacement Logic Board
2 minPlace the new or repaired logic board firmly into the upper housing cavity of the device.

Reinstall Cameras and Antenna
3 minSet the camera modules back into their slots, connect their flex cables, and snap the antenna cable head back onto the socket.

Reconnect Screen, Main, and Battery Cables
2 minPress down firmly on the display cable, interconnect cable, and battery connector until each clicks into place.

Secure Upper Board Cover
3 minPlace the motherboard shield back on top and tighten all previously removed Phillips #000 screws.
