Power Off Phone

Disconnect Antenna Cables
2 minUse fine tweezers to carefully unsnap the white and black coaxial antenna cables from their sockets on the daughterboard.

Pry Out Old Daughterboard
2 minInsert the flat end of a spudger underneath the daughterboard containing the primary microphone. Lever the board upward to release it from the chassis.

Set New Daughterboard
2 minAlign the replacement microphone daughterboard into the bottom cavity of the phone frame. Press down firmly to seat it in place.

Reconnect Cables
2 minSnap the coaxial antenna connectors and the main interconnect flex cable securely back onto the new daughterboard.

Secure Loudspeaker Module
2 minPlace the loudspeaker assembly back over the lower circuit board and reinstall the retaining Phillips screws.

Seal Rear Cover
3 minApply new pre-cut adhesive strip along the perimeter of the phone frame, align the rear cover, and press firmly down along the edges.
