   Press and hold the power button until the power menu appears, then select shut down. Ensure the device is fully powered off before starting.

   Eject the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then remove it completely.

   Heat the rear panel

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer along the edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive underneath.

   Slice the back panel adhesive

   Press a suction cup onto the bottom section of the back cover and lift up to create a small gap. Insert an opening pick into the gap and slide it along the perimeter to slice the adhesive.

   Remove the rear cover

   Lift the rear cover away from the frame once all adhesive is sliced. Set the panel aside safely.

   Unscrew the motherboard bracket

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all screws holding down the upper plastic motherboard cover.

   Detach the motherboard cover

   Use a plastic spudger to gently pry up the motherboard cover from its clips and lift it out of the phone.

   Disconnect the battery flex cable

   Locate the battery connector on the motherboard and use a plastic spudger to snap it straight up and off its socket.

   Unscrew the loudspeaker assembly

   Remove the Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom speaker housing to the phone frame.

    Remove the loudspeaker module

    Insert a spudger beneath the loudspeaker housing and pry it up to remove it from the bottom frame.

    Disconnect the display flex cable

    Locate the display flex cable attached to the mainboard and gently pop it off using a flat spudger.

    Heat the display glass

    Apply heat evenly across the front glass panel using a heat gun for roughly three minutes to soften the screen adhesive.

    Pry up the broken screen

    Attach a suction cup near the edge of the screen, pull up to create a gap, and slide plastic picks underneath to separate the glass from the frame.

    Thread the flex cable through the frame

    Carefully lift the display away while guiding its flex cable through the slot in the midframe.

    Clean old adhesive from the frame

    Scrape off residual adhesive from the frame edges using a spudger and clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply new display adhesive

    Lay down pre-cut adhesive tape along the inner perimeter of the midframe to secure the new screen.

    Mount the new display screen

    Feed the new display flex cable through the frame slot and press the screen firmly into place along all edges.

    Reconnect screen and battery flex cables

    Press the screen connector back into its mainboard socket, followed by the battery connector, until both snap into place.

    Reinstall the loudspeaker module

    Position the speaker assembly at the bottom of the phone and secure it using the Phillips #00 screws.

    Reattach the upper motherboard shield

    Place the top motherboard cover over the board and tighten all Phillips screws securely.

    Seal the rear back cover

    Apply fresh adhesive to the back cover, align it with the frame, and press firmly around all edges.
