Step-by-step

Power off the device
1 minTurn off your Motorola Moto G71S completely and remove the SIM card tray using an eject tool.

Heat the back cover

Remove the microphone daughterboard
2 minPry up the old daughterboard containing the primary microphone and remove it from the bottom frame assembly.

Position the new microphone board
2 minSet the replacement daughterboard into the lower housing slot and press down gently until it sits flat.

Reconnect the antenna cable
2 minAlign the coaxial antenna head over its socket on the new board and snap it into place with tweezers.
