   Eject SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray on the left side of the frame. Push firmly to pop the tray out, then slide it out completely.

   Heat Rear Cover

   Apply heat evenly along the edges of the rear cover for two to three minutes using a heat gun set to low heat. This softens the adhesive securing the back panel.

   Apply Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower third of the rear panel near the bottom edge. Pull up gently on the suction cup handle to create a small separation gap.

   Create Entry Gap

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the gap between the rear cover and the frame. Do not push the pick deeper than 5 mm to avoid damaging internal components.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick around all four edges of the phone to cut the perimeter adhesive. Reapply heat if the adhesive cools down and resists movement.

   Remove Rear Cover

   Lift the rear cover straight off the frame once all adhesive borders are sliced. Set the panel aside on a clean, dust-free surface.

   Unfasten Loudspeaker Screws

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lower plastic loudspeaker module. Store the screws together so none are lost.

   Remove Loudspeaker Assembly

   Insert a spudger under the edge of the lower speaker housing and lift it out of the frame. This exposes the sub-board containing the primary microphone.

   Disconnect Battery Connector

   Pry the battery press-fit connector straight up from its motherboard socket using the flat end of a spudger. Disconnecting power prevents electrical shorts during repair.

    Disconnect Interconnect Cable

    Use a spudger to pry up the main interconnect ribbon cable connector from the lower sub-board.

    Unclip Antenna Cable

    Slide the tip of precision tweezers under the coaxial antenna cable connector and lift straight up to pop it off the sub-board.

    Remove Sub-Board Screw

    Unfasten the single Phillips screw securing the sub-board to the phone frame.

    Pry Out Microphone Board

    Insert the flat end of a spudger under the sub-board and lift it carefully out of its housing recess. Ensure the rubber microphone seal is retrieved if it stayed behind.

    Install New Sub-Board

    Position the replacement sub-board into the lower frame recess, ensuring the microphone port aligns perfectly with the chassis opening, and press it flat.
