Step-by-step

Eject the SIM tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly to pop out the tray, then remove it completely.

Remove the sub-board assembly
2 minDisconnect the flex cable on the lower daughterboard and lift the charging port board out of the lower frame.

Clean boards with isopropyl alcohol
10 minSubmerge or liberally apply 90%+ isopropyl alcohol to both boards and gently scrub away water residue and corrosion using a soft antistatic brush.

Dry all internal components
